Forthcoming performances include;
1) There are leaflets about Oldham Choral Society's concert of Gondoliers
and Mikado in Middleton Arena on Sunday November 8th at 7.00 pm featuring Donald
Maxwell as the leading soloist and Margaret Hood in the chorus. Please remember
that we have a meeting that afternoon here at 2.30 pm, Jeff Clarke of Opera
della Luna, so only book for Margaret's concert if you can manage both in the
day!
2) Looking ahead, Opera North will perform Ruddigore in the New Year, starting
in Leeds on Saturday January 30th and several other dates, and at the Lowry
on two dates, Wednesday February 24th and Saturday February 267th, all at 7.30
pm. They are not booking yet, but you might want to put it in your diary.
3) If you have not yet paid your subs for this season, Barbara will be pleased
to take £15 off you during the interval.
4) Please take some publicity to your local Library, evening class centre,
music shop etc if you can - leaflets and programme cards - please alter them
to show October and April programmes swapped. Also maybe some magazines.
5) Chris Browne has brought some goodies for sale - a small selection of his
