6) Remember Chris Browne's website of memorabilia for sale if you want to buy anything or just browse and see what he has; www.gilbertandsullivanonline.com.
7) Remember that the next meeting of the Society will be on Tuesday March 3rd when members John Coates and Jean Dufty will present an evening on Gilbert's wonderful, well-drawn characters. (On the programme cards this was billed as being on February 3rd but we had to swop the February and March meetings. Then today's meeting had to be cancelled due to the weather. We hope that Simon Theobald will present his evening on Rutland Barrington next season.)
8) Notice to members; looking ahead to the AGM in May when we elect Officers and Committee for the coming year. Sadly Wilf Deakin (Treasurer) and Derek Owen (Committee member) are retiring from committee. We thank them both for their years of service on the committee. We need at least two new committee members to be nominated and seconded - please put your thinking caps on! Forms for nominations will be available at the March meeting, or contact Jean in the meantime.
9) Notice to members who are able to attend meetings; we would welcome any volunteers to take a turn in manning the door prior to our meetings, as Derek usually does. Please contact Jean.
